Program Description
IOU Finance LLC ("IOU," "we," "us") sends a single type of SMS message: a one-time phone verification code, sent only when a user requests one through the IOU app. IOU does not send promotional or marketing SMS messages, and does not send any other type of automated SMS message at this time.

How You Consent
You receive a verification code only after you request one — for example, when verifying your phone number during account registration, signing in, or updating the phone number on your account. By entering your phone number and requesting a code, you consent to receive that SMS message from IOU Finance LLC.
Consent to receive this SMS is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. However, phone verification itself is required to activate payment features on the Platform, as it is part of our identity and account-security process.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies. You will only receive a message when you actively request a verification code — there is no recurring, scheduled, or automatic messaging. Requesting multiple codes (for example, if a code expires before you enter it) will result in multiple messages.
Opt-Out and Help
To opt out: Reply STOP to any IOU message. Standard carrier opt-out handling applies. Because this program consists solely of verification codes you request yourself, opting out means you will not be able to receive the codes needed to verify your phone number and activate payment features.

Rates and Carriers
Msg & data rates may apply. IOU Finance LLC does not charge for SMS messages. Your mobile carrier may charge for messages or data depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
IOU SMS is supported by all major U.S. wireless carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. IOU Finance LLC is not responsible for undelivered messages due to carrier limitations.
Privacy
Your mobile phone number is used solely to send the verification message described above. IOU Finance LLC does not sell, share, or rent your phone number to third parties for marketing purposes. See our Privacy Policy for complete details.
Changes to These SMS Terms
IOU Finance LLC may update these SMS Terms at any time, including if additional message types are introduced in the future. Any such change will be reflected here with an updated effective date before it takes effect, and, where appropriate, by in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
